Lameness or unsoundness is one of the most common problems facing the ridden horse. Step one in solving these problems is establishing an accurate diagnosis: many times, this can be accomplished by a thorough examination by an experienced veterinarian. Additional tools may then be needed, including xray and ultrasound.
